Warranty

Unless otherwise stated, Starpoint Lighting provides a 12-month warranty on all products from the date of purchase. For commercial or trade use, the warranty period is 3 months.
This warranty operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and cannot be excluded.
What Our Warranty Covers
Under normal operating conditions, this warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, including:
A. Any defect in design or manufacture that results in the product not performing substantially as described in authorised advertising or product literature.
B. Repair or replacement of the product (at our discretion), where the fault is determined to be caused by a manufacturing or design defect and not due to misuse, abuse, or unauthorised modification.
Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to:
A replacement or refund for a major failure
Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage
Have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure
These rights are in addition to any warranty offered by Starpoint Lighting.
What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
A. Damage caused by improper use, misuse, or neglect
B. Faulty or incorrect installation, or modifications made during installation
C. Costs associated with removing or reinstalling the product
D. Travel or additional expenses due to remote locations
E. Transport costs or damage during transit (customers are responsible for return shipping; insurance is recommended)
F. Any direct or indirect loss resulting from product failure
G. Damage caused by mould, insects, animals, environmental conditions, accidents, incorrect operation, or normal wear and tear
